A British Canoeing Centre of Excellence for sprint and marathon racing. Beginner divisions to GB selection – every paddler has a place on the start line.

“Marathon kayaking is challenging – but most of all, fun.”
Marathon races take place across the country in canoes, SUPs and kayaks. Throughout the year we compete in Hasler Marathons, National Marathon Races in summer, the Winter Series and the Waterside Series.
Our main racing series. Paddlers compete in divisions from beginner to advanced, over three distances:
Norwich Canoe Club encourages and enables sprint racing at all ages and levels of ability. Distances are 200m, 500m, 1000m and 5km – in singles (K1) and in crew boats (K2 and K4).
Alongside fun club sprint events, we send teams to four national sprint regattas every year at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham.
Tiered classes (A–D) let paddlers race against others of similar speed.

All four national regattas at the National Watersports Centre, Nottingham.
Hasler Marathons, the Winter Series and the Waterside Series fill out the marathon calendar from spring through to the dead of winter.
Hasler Division 9, fun club sprints, and 5km debuts.
Move up the divisions, stronger boats, longer distances.
Junior, U23 and Senior National Championships.
GB selection, international racing, podium chases.

Drop the marathon or sprint rep an email – they’ll match you to a session and a first race that fits.
